This session will look at the benefits of using open infrastructures like Persistent identifiers (PIDs) as long-lasting references to digital objects of various types that contribute to ensuring cohesion and discoverability. The session will look at strategies for promoting the use of PIDs at institutional and national levels as a matter of policy.
