Charles Onuwa is a Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Sciences, University of Lagos. His areas of specialization are Software Engineering, Computer Architecture, Communications and Networking Systems. He holds a BSc (Computer Science), University of Ibadan, 1979; an MSc (Computer Science), University of Lagos, 1983; PhD (Computer Science), University of Lagos, 1990.

He has served the University in various capacities including Acting Head of department 1996 – 1998; Acting Director Computer Centre 2003 – 2005; Director, Centre for Information Technology and Systems 2005 – 2013; Head of department 2013 -2016. He has over 80 academic publications in reputable local and international media.

He is a member of ACM, IEEE, and a Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society. He has served the IT community in Nigeria in various capacities – President, Nigeria Computer Society 2007 – 2011; President/Chairman-in-Council, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria 2017 – date. He is the Chair, Eko-Konnect Research and Education Initiative.

Professor Chinwe Veronica Anunobi is a Professor of Library and Information Science and the current National Librarian/Chief Executive Officer of National Library of Nigeria and the immediate past University Librarian, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education Biology from University of Nigeria Nsukka, Masters in Library Science from the Imo State University Owerri and Doctor of Philosophy, Library and Information Science from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

Dr Awodoyin holds a Bachelor of Information Resources Management (B.IRM, Hons) from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria, and Master’s and Ph.D Degrees in Library and Information Science from University of Ibadan, Nigeria and University of Ilorin, Nigeria respectively.

She has over ten years in experience teaching and supervising both postgraduate and undergraduate students. Dr Awodoyin has published in both local and international peer reviewed journals. She is a recipient of University of Pretoria Carnegie CPD grant for young information professionals in Africa (2014) and also a beneficiary of the CODATA-RDA School of Research Data Science Africa (2021) grant.

Her research interest includes Reference Service, Open Access, Library and Information Science Education, Information Technology Adoption and Use.
