Session 2: Transformative Agreements and Open Access Adoption in the Nigerian Context

This session will explain the role Plan S and transformative agreements play in driving Open Access and how or if they can be adapted to promote OA adoption in Nigeria. The session will also look at OA enforcement policy and the financial aspects of journal publishing and explore utilising indigenous Open Science infrastructure as one of the solutions to addressing the poor adoption of Open Access in Nigeria.
